We are hiring at Communities of Care for a Private Duty Nurse (LPN/RN) for a client that is in need of a passionate and skilled individual to care for a pediatric male client. We would love for this individual to join our team of amazing caregivers with their skills and talents. Client information:
- 3-year-old male
- Age appropriate and verbal
- Hypotonia, congenital anomaly
- Incomplete C1/C3 spinal injury
- GT, Trach/vent (Trying to wean)

Responsibilities:
Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and/or disabled patients
- Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms and/or behaviors.
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
Required Skills:
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Maintain accurate patient medical records.
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients and their family members.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
