The receptionist will be receiving guests at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately. The receptionist will be responsible for professionally answering incoming calls and directing calls to appropriate associates. The receptionist will assist office/clinical staff with special projects, mailings and requests, as needed.Required Experience for Receptionist:Possession of high school diploma or equivalent (GED)One year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experienceCompliance with accepted professional standards and practicesCompetency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and OutlookFlexible, cooperative, and optimistic in fulfilling all obligations which supports team performance and productivityPresent professional appearance/dressAccountabilities for Receptionist:Resilient Communication: Ability to consistently and effectively communicate with CorsoCare employees and customersRelationship Development: Creating relationships honest conversations, and following through on action itemsEnsure the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standardsSupport relationships by providing consistent values, attentiveness, and 1440 experiencesOther key Responsibilities for Receptionist:Ensures phone calls are redirected accordinglyGreet guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable mannerMaintains confidential patient records in accordance with privacy and security standards of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other applicable state laws.Honors patients' rights.Participates in the Agency's Emergency Preparedness, Procedures and Emergency Communications plan.Order, maintain, and restock office and breakroom suppliesCreates and assembles Start of CareOrder/set up lunches for meetings and special eventsOrganize and coordinate use of meeting roomsCollaborate with office staff to plan events for clinician meetingsSkills for Success:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsBuilding strong relationshipsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceGood time management skillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsRelating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of peopleAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formTravel utilizing own vehicle for the coordination of lunches, errands, and other required needsAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situationsCommunicating clearly and frequently with patients, clinicians and all employees within the organization#CORRN More...
