Marshfield Medical Center Dickinson is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Urgent Care/ED to join our department in Iron Mountain, Michigan. We are looking for a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients under the supervision/collaboration of a licensed physician. This individual will work within a cooperative department, utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide positive patient interaction.The Iron Mountain Emergency Department was recently renovated in 2021 and is the only ED in a large mile radius seeing just under 20K patients per year.JOB QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATIONFor positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.Required Education: Master s degree nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant.Preferred/Optional: NoneEXPERIENCE Preferred/Optional: Two years nursing experience.CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.Minimum Required

• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse License
• Nurse Practitioner Certification awarded by a national certifying body.
• Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber Certification awarded by the State of Wisconsin.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association.
• Physician AssistantPreferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.Compensation and Benefits
