Essential Functions:
--- - -Provide exemplary customer service to patients, visitors and coworkers.
--- - -Provide convenient, friendly patient care to all who come through our door seeking health related services.
--- - -Obtains patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview and examination.
--- - -Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions, including use of prescriptive authority and referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
--- - -Documents patient care performed, assessments made, and orders given.
--- - -Oversees, directs and supports on site laboratory, x-rays, injections, and collections for direct access services, if applicable.
--- - -Provide counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
--- - -Provide care in the context of promoting age- and culture-appropriate informed choices, shared decision making, and the right to self-determination.
--- - -Working environment subject to varying fast paced conditions during peak seasons.
--- - -Maintains clinical core competency.Position Requirements:
Master's degree required
Current MI Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure required
Annual influenza vaccination or declination requiredPosition Details:
1.0 FTE (full-time, 40 hours per week)
Day shift, weekdays only
8 hour shift
