HR / Payroll Specialist Reports to: Human Resource Manager General Description:This position is human resources assistance and payroll process under the supervision of the Human Resource Manager. Exemplary Duties/Responsibilities:Responsible for payroll processing in ADP, and the workings of ADP to ensure that employees are paid properly. - Bi-weekly payroll audits.
- Monthly reporting to HR and Accounting
- Attendance. Work with Manufacturing to assist with tardy and absences.
- Support Human Resource's in area's of employee relations such as fmla, short term disability, etc...
- Women in Mersen
- Employee Engagement
- HR Projects as the arise.
- Support Human Resource's with ongoing work instruction documentation.
- Participate in digitalization of HR Department.
- Operates a multi-line switchboard, answers, and appropriately routes all incoming calls for various business units with courtesy, speed, and accuracy. Presents a professional, courteous demeanor when using the Company intercom system.
- Receives outside visitors, directs or escorts them to their destination. Assists visitors with badge system and pre-entry screenings and forms following Homeland Security procedures. Minimum Qualifications:Suggested one year certificate from college or technical school; and two to three years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Payroll processing and time card management a must with at least 2 - 3 years experience.
