Integration Analyst



The Integration Analyst defines, builds and tests Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) interfaces to provide a service-based, foundational architecture for enterprise system-to-system integration. The Integration Analyst will be responsible for building processes to consume and map inbound messages, to specify and build business process worker services, build necessary third party BizTalk adapters, to develop Microsoft BizTalk itineraries and orchestrations and then to test and deploy completed integration solutions.



Responsibilities



Integrate solution partners by designing, testing and deploying reusable enterprise web service packages that consume partner-provided XSD s and WSDL s to orchestrate and map required inbound and outbound message types to specific enterprise business functions.

Design, build, test and deploy BizTalk process adapters for consistent interactions with third-party partners.

Advise internal project teams of existing service capacities and limitations. Provide guidance as an assigned project resource to specify optimal service calls for new application integrations.

Balance new functional web-service requirements against deployed enterprise web services. Protect existing production functionality by making sound recommendations to the Service Oriented Architecture Board to alter existing web services and deprecate the old or to create new services leaving the old intact.

Provide oversight to the ongoing SOA environment by serving as an active member of the Company s SOA Board. In this capacity, chart the course of each enterprise service, determine when to update and when to deprecate existing services and provide customer communication to service consumers.

Provide ongoing maintenance and upgrade services for existing business services deployed. In this capacity also serve as a contact for audit reviews of systems and provide disaster recovery planning and test support.

Document and publish required Enterprise Architecture artifacts specifically those that govern or clarify the use of the company s Service Oriented Architecture.



Education, Skills Knowledge



Candidates must be self-directed and open to technical challenges. Recommendations made by this incumbent will serve to establish new standard operating procedures, installation standards, maintenance requirements and support obligations as well as potentially serving to define new technical standards. The Integrations Analyst will define integration requirements and will be responsible for building out web service components for assigned projects. As a senior level technical resource, the Integrations Analyst will participate in the SOA board that will disposition all requests for additions to or changes of existing production enterprise web services. Solutions identified and implemented by the incumbent will redefine business processes and operations. The incumbent will also provide design review and guidance to peer and junior members of the team



Minimum five (5) years hands-on development experience within a BizTalk environment (2006R2, 2009, 2010)

3+ years BizTalk server administration

3+ years development experience using C# .NET

Bachelor s Degree Preferred, Preferably in a Technology-based discipline

Demonstrated knowledge of WCF, Web Services, SOAP and XML

Demonstrated knowledge of SQL Server, Windows Server, Active Directory, SSIS, SSRS, & Business Objects

Demonstrated experience developing software using a formal and structured development methodology.

Collaborative development in a team environment

Ability to accurately estimate software development tasks given a set of requirements and assumptions; ability to work with Project Managers to develop task-level project plans and proposals.

Ability to develop secure solutions and knowledge of industry best practices regarding information security and defensive development.

Maintain up to date knowledge on service releases and hot fixes for the development and deployment suite. Schedule, plan and execute required maintenance. More...
