CT Technologist$100k $115k + Sign on Bonus!Full time and part time, nights, evenings and weekend shifts available (day shifts not available).Under direct supervision of the CT Manager, the CT Technologist utilizes computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patient's internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. As a CT Technologist, you will gain a wide range of experience using cutting-edge technology, while working with a great team of people by providing exceptional care for all.REQUIREMENTS:Must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic TechnologyMust be ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology, CT Specialty required or obtained within one year of employmentBLS or CPR requiredIV Certification requiredJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Operates a CT (computed tomography) scanner to perform technologist duties as required and necessary for proper departmental work flow. Performs appropriate studies, to patients of all ages, as determined through policy and procedure.* Follows requisition in terms of providing proper study for patients. Ensures that exam requisition matches patient identification, condition and/or history and calls or asks the appropriate persons for more information as necessary to perform the proper study.* Prepares patient for exams as required and insures patient comfort and modesty at all times.* Accommodates patient needs and staffing needs through flexibility in scheduling and timeliness of studies. Monitors patients conditions and if it is determined assistance may be required, the employee takes action to facilitate the best course of care to include: nurse involvement, further monitoring and/or other patient focused solutions.* Sets up equipment as necessary and uses proper imaging techniques.* Adjusts imaging factors when necessary to improve study or quality factors.* Works through radiologists requirements to provide appropriate images and provides additional views and variations of techniques as requested.* Completes procedures in timely fashion while providing quality images for Radiology and outside departments. Completes work by the end of the shift or communicates with coworkers about work needing completion.* Performs patient focused customer service and ensures the following standards are met appropriately and achieved. Communicates patient complaints professionally to the appropriate supervisor.* Keeps discussions around patients to a minimum and ensures that patients are not subjected to departmental conversations and/or any inappropriate behavior.
