The new Center for Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Somerville will provide a transformative continuum of patient and family-centered care for diverse youth with mental health needs.Position Description:The Inpatient Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to pediatric patients with a range of developmental conditions and behavioral disorders, including developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other mental health challenges. -In addition to ABA, CHA's neurodevelopmental inpatient services utilize a multidisciplinary approach including psychotherapy services, psychopharmacology, speech and language services, occupational therapy, and rehabilitation services.Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Behavioral Psychologist, your responsibilities will include the following: - - Direct ABA services to children with developmental disabilities and behavior disorders and their families. -
- Developing, writing, and evaluating behavior treatment plans; selecting and running of assessments; and selecting and implementing functionally-based interventions. -
- Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and training to Behavioral Techs/Milieu Counselors and maintain model fidelity. -
- Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team; conduct assessments, complete reports; and assist the Behavioral Psychologist in implementation of PBIS and trauma-sensitive frameworks. -Requirements:
