As a member of our technical staff, you will work on all aspects of software development, starting with concept ideation and development, followed by implementation and testing, and finally, support transition to operational environments. You will have the opportunity to apply your work products to real-world applications and leverage the knowledge gained from that experience into new and advanced research threads. Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Employees are required to be on-site for 3 days per workweek. Schedule of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader .What you will do
- Work with small teams on national security problems, collaborating with the top academics in the domain of interest
- Design and implement software solutions using the latest open-source software; test and evaluate the produced solutions and validate their capabilities against the customer needs
- Participate in collaborative evaluations that assess performance against the state of the art
- Support the program lead in preparing presentations and writeups that describe the uniqueness of the approach
- Write and present conference papers about your work at peer-reviewed venuesWhat you will gain
