See our full statement on diversity .OVERVIEW OF ROLEOur elementary school (Match Community Day) is accepting applications for Upper Elementary Lead Teachers (3rd-5th Grade). Lead Teachers are fully responsible for the growth and achievement of the student in their class (we have 18 students/class in Pre-K and Kindergarten and 24 students/class in grades 1-5). Lead Teachers are supported in the classroom by associate teachers, special education staff, or aides. The positions are based at our elementary school campus on 100 Poydras St. in Hyde Park. We are only able to consider applicants who have current US work authorization.The salary range for teachers new to Match is $61,200-97,920 and is determined by the candidate's prior years of full-time teaching experience. Match offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 90% coverage of employee health insurance costs and up to $150/month in student loan repayment assistance.
