QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Tech III Level
Minimum of 5-7 years of maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, welding, pneumatics, and general maintenance) required.
Mechanical experience in a food manufacturing plant preferred.
Ability to become familiar with any applicable OSHAregulations (e.g. hazard communications, lockout/tagout) and apply this knowledge to daily duties required.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains plant and plant equipment including but not limited to mixers, production belts, slicers, pallet jacks, pneumatic pumps, dish washers, and ovens.
Actively participates in Continuous Improvement projects and processes.
Communicates with vendors to ensure availability and prices of replacement parts and/or services.
Performs emergency and routine repairs as needed.
Participates in the GFSI/FSSC22000 yearly audit and assists in the development of procedures and corrective actions.
Adheres to the plant s Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) plans.
Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Performs other duties as assigned.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be able to communicate with others to ensure proper production flow to avoid line downtime or disruptions.
Must communicate with appropriate personnel to maintain plant to the best of our ability.
