You will provide engineering technical direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical objectives. You have the chance to design model-based systems and develop digital twin models and architectures in support of government defense systems. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize how our clients go about linking digital tools and techniques with system engineering, fostering a new way of cybersecurity and product development. The world cant wait.You Have:2+ years of experience with Systems Engineering and Integration, MBSE, and using digital engineering tools to design DoD systemsExperience with architecting solutions from user requirements and use cases to be applied across a systems engineering life cycleExperience with modeling tools, including Magic Draw or Cameo, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or IBM RhapsodyExperience with the practical application of Unified Modeling Language (UML) or Systems Modeling Language (SysML)Ability to conduct model-based performance simulations to determine the impact of requirements changes on system performance and behaviorsAbility to use MBSE tools and processes to create and manage tailored MBSE artifacts that capture analysis and the resulting engineering decisions and trades made during acquisition and developmentAbility to work eectively in a multi-disciplinary, dynamic team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government clients to increase the use of MBSE for client acquisitions programsAbility to obtain a security clearanceBachelors degreeNice If You Have:Experience with supporting acquisition programs and government clientsExperience with extending systems models into other tools for analysis, including MATLAB, Simulink, or STK, and model-based product support, including Teamcenter or WindchillExperience with scripting languages such as the Velocity Template LanguageKnowledge of using system models during government engineering reviews and other system engineering disciplines, including configuration management, risk management, cybersecurity, and cyber certification processesKnowledge of modular open systems approach (MOSA) design principles and technologies, DoD architecture standards and framework, and Agile systems engineering methods and toolsKnowledge of DoDD 5000.01, DoDI 5000.02, the System Development Life Cycle, and object-oriented programming languages, including C++, Java, or PythonTS/SCI clearanceMaster's degree in Engineering, Science, or MathematicsObject Management Group (OMG) Certified System Modeling Language Professional (OCSMP) Model User or Builder CertificationINCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Create Your Career:Grow With UsYour growth matters to usthats why we offer a variety of ways for you to develop your career. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
