ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Responsible for the in-process quality of product and packagingSample and review analytical data of product and release batches for processing/packagingMonitor downstream packaging for accuracy and qualityMonitor sanitation practices of facility through Pre-Operational Checklist and During Operational ChecklistsApprove line for USDA production in lieu of USDA inspector evaluationsAssist with monthly sanitation audit of facilityMonitor CCP (Critical Control Points) as well as other documentation for accuracyMonitor packaging integrity throughout destruction teardown and package evaluationNotify Supervisors/Quality Control of any deviations to products, packaging or paperworkAssist in evaluation of product quality when Non Conformances ariseDowntime is cleaning timeAll other duties assigned by a supervisor SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
LANGUAGE SKILLS
: Ability to read in English and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to write in English to complete documentation and to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively communicate with employees. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, including decimals and fractions.
Simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, wiring diagrams, computer scanning devices, adjustable measuring instruments.
Check reports, forms, records and comparable data, where interpretation requires basic skills knowledge. REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
