Job Description The selected candidate will provide oversight to installation/repair teams completing US Navy combat and communication system ship alterations and repairs. Responsibilities include thorough ship checks to determine scope of work and to determine potential conflicts between installation drawings and actual shipboard configuration. Will ensure installations are completed in a timely manner in accordance with US Navy standards. Build material lists from official drawings and coordinate to ensure required material is ordered and received in a timely manner. Coordinate with various activities to ensure proper scheduling of services and resolve installation issues. Conduct briefs and attend meetings.This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
