<span>&nbsp;<br><B>Purpose of the Position:</B> &nbsp;As a member of the Application Support Group you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining a Liferay portal environment as well as the underlying application and web servers. You will be tasked with ensuring the supporting virtual infrastructure is configured per the portal vendor specifications. You will provide support in specialized technology areas that can include, but is not limited to: Liferay portal administration, Tomcat application server administration, Apache web server administration, Linux system configuration, systems analysis, performance testing, portal and portlet deployment, and application maintenance. Additionally, you may assist with project planning, problem resolution and production support. As the candidate, you will develop technical documentation in accordance with organizational procedures and policies. Candidate must comply with the standard and organization requirements relative to specific assignments.<br>&nbsp;<br><B>Minimum Qualifications: </B> <br>&nbsp;<br>&bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology; <br>&bull; Must have a minimum of 3 years portal administration experience. <br>&bull; Liferay Portal administration <br>&bull; Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration <br>&bull; Unix/Linux scripting <br>&bull; Java application server administration <br>&bull; Web server administration<br>&bull; Strong written and verbal communications <br>&bull; Strong client facing skills <br>&bull; DOD Secret Clearance<br>&bull; Security+ certification<br>&bull; Ability to work in small, rapid-development teams <br>&bull; Ability to triage and resolve portal related performance issues<br>&bull; Excellent written and verbal communications skills. <br>&bull; CompTIA Security+ Certification required<br>&bull; Must possess a Secret Clearance (interim is acceptable to start)<br>&nbsp;<br><B>Preferred Qualifications: </B><br>&nbsp;<br>&bull; Liferay Portal development and administration<br>&bull; Experience developing or supporting Tomcat hosted web applications<br>&bull; Experience using or supporting Apache Web Server<br>&bull; Experience using or supporting a virtualized Red Hat Linux environment<br>&bull; Experience with LDAP administration<br>&bull; Experience with CA SiteMinder administration<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br></span> More...
