Our client is a food manufacturing industry leader! We are seeking a Master Production Scheduler to oversee production planning for multiple plants. This person will manage a team of Production Planners.Oversees production planning and the corresponding systems and technology.Coordinates production scheduling utilizing MRP.Coordinates capacity planning in conjunction with operations.Understands cost factors of production and ensures runs are managed at the most cost effective levels.Interacts with purchasing, production, marketing, sales, and quality control departments to ensure smooth and timely production scheduling, and product movement.Serves as liaison between production planning and other departments to anticipate and resolve production planning issues.Required:Bachelor's Degree highly preferred.Minimum of two years of production planning / master scheduling experience.Expert knowledge of the Materials Resource Planning (MRP) process.Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.Strong analytical skills and organizational skills.
