Capitol City Ford is looking for a transmission specialist. - The right technician must be proficient with diagnosing & repairing automatic & manual transmissions plus differentials & transfer cases. - Ford certification is a plus, but not necessary!

• Technicians perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders on vehicles with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or Ford standards
  
• Automotive technicians diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
  
• Mechanics provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
  
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
  
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
  
• Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
  
  Earn -over $100k a year with a 40 hour work week.

    • Must have own set of tools
      
    • Must be dependable with a reliable source of transportation
      
    • Strong motivation to learn & succeed in the business
      
    • Must be able to provide customer satisfaction performing inspections, repairs, and maintenance services according to Ford's standards
      
    • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
