Currently seeking a qualified Dialysis/Apheresis Registered Nurse (RN) to staff two full-time contracts in Indianapolis lasting 13 weeks! Enjoy your nights and weekends with a M-F 8 hour day shift contract. 3+ years of recent and related experience is required. Apheresis equipment or dialysis with central lines and ports -experience is required. BLS/ACLS are also required. Pay rate for these positions are $40-50/hr, -this is subject to change due to contract availability, position, and facility location. - -Benefits for the Dialysis -- RN

  • Perform therapeutic apheresis/dialysis procedures per Facility and State Guidelines. -
  • Assess and educate patients regarding treatment, medical history, current condition, and laboratory results.
  • Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, hemodynamic status, and laboratory values before and during -treatment, intervening as needed.
  • Maintain all vascular access devices, and practice infection control policy to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate and maintain effective communication with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to -coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Document apheresis procedures, patient responses, and any adverse events accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records.Requirements of the Registered Nurse - RN -
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
    • 3+ years of recent and related experience, as required by the facility.
    • Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team.
    • Must be able to remain calm under pressure.
    • Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly.
