Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a -Travel RN - Oncology -3 North 48's Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a (12x4) 48 hours per week, will consider 36's Length: 13 weeks Requirements: - IN/Compact License

- Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals
- First Time Travelers AcceptedFirst Time Travelers AcceptedShift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12 Days
*** Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract *** Weekends: Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract. Pending operational needs, consecutive weekends may be needed based on the greatest need *** Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources. Certification Requirements: BCLS Skillset Requirements/Preferences: Minimum 2 Years of Experience; Level 1 Trauma Experience Preferred Staffing Ratios: 1:4-6 Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals Unit Information: 3 North is a medical-surgical unit specializing in post-operative care of colorectal surgery do care for patients who need negative-airflow rooms, so candidates must be fit-tested for an N95 mask or trained on how to use a PAPR device for care of these patients. Effective 9/1, the COVID vaccine is required for all travelers at IU Health campuses. Declinations will not be accepted; however medical or religious exemptions will be accepted with a doctor's note provided.
