If so, then we want to hear from you!This position will be located at one of our newest, state-of-the-art BAE Systems facilities in Fort Wayne, IN. The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the products or services meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance. This position includes selling off product that is compliant to all contract requirement to customers and DCMA. This role includes hardware and software quality experience and expertise, with emphasis on hardware quality-related activities.This individual needs to have solid communications skills as well as having the ability to engage across all levels of the organization in building effective relationships. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field and 2 years of experience or 6 years of experience in lieu of degree - Software and Hardware Quality experience in commercial, automotive, or aerospace & defense hardware and software technology with emphasis on Hardware Quality skills
- Strong Collaborative skills both within and external to the Quality Function
- Able to read and comprehend drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
- Ability to drive successful completion of Root Cause, Corrective and Preventive Actions
- Self-motivated and able to manage daily priorities with minimal oversight and direction.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
