Requisition #: 73058 What you'll be doing Demonstrated strong data analysis skills including independent ability to research data requirements for data warehouse in cloud environment and research source-to-target mapping from legacy data environment to new cloud environment. Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with business partners to facilitate data governance meetings, communicate data rules, and navigate discussions around data governance issues. Uses best practice standards and technical acumen to data mine for research purposes any data items as needed for role. Demonstrated knowledge of SQL and Business Intelligence reporting tools such as Tableau, Business Objects. Supports strategic program objectives by analyzing and provide requirements for future data warehouse environment. Provides source-to-target mapping from legacy data environment to new cloud data environment. Ability to document and provide analysis of current state data workflows. Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility. Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility. Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility. Participates in and facilitates meetings for the Data Governance Council. Creates and utilizes data governance scorecards to support Data Governance Council discussions and decision making. Documents and records information, decisions, and recommendations made by the Data Governance Council. Supports the development of the Data Governance vision and framework while remaining aligned with overall business objectives. Develops, documents, and maintains definition, production, usage, classification, and compliance rules across multiple business units to support the enterprise management of data. Communicates all data rules to internal and external stakeholders. Collaborates with data owners and data custodians to identify and resolve more complex data governance issues in a timely and collaborative manner. Supports the development of processes and procedures for Data Governance and Stewardship. Supports the analysis and documentation of data capture standards associated with new products. Serves as a resource to internal stakeholders on more complex Data Governance solutions which optimize client requirements and achieve desired business results. Escalates highly complex issues to management/Data Governance Council when necessary. What we're looking for 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required) 3 - 5+ Years of experience in the financial/retirement industry that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities of this position (Required ) Knowledge of ETL functions, data warehousing principles. Knowledge of securities accounting and / or investment data. Knowledge of SQL and Business Intelligence reporting tools such as AWS QuickSight, Athena Ability to deliver challenging assignments with time sensitivity & criticality within assigned timelines Ability to work with others in a team environment. Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop collaborative approaches. Demonstrates ability to identify and recommend processes improvements. Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style. Demonstrates the ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information. Finds common ground and can gain collaboration among management, colleagues and peers; can influence outcomes without directing or commanding. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong personal time management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
