Overview
This is a PRN Diagnostic Radiology Technologist position located in Fort Wayne, IN forEngle Rd, Hope Dr, Pettit Ave, and Ernst Rd. This position will also takeweekend call the third weekend of every month at Hope Dr for Urgent Care patients.Call hours areSaturday and Sunday8a-6p.
Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures for radiological diagnosis, in a timely fashion, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. Treats patients with care and respect.

• Basic Life Support certification, required.
  
• Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
  
• Requires active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible). If board eligible, must obtain credential in Radiography within 6 months of hire.
  
• Requires current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.
