DepartmentFACILITY OPERATIONS-IUB (BL-PHYP-IUBLA) Job Summary - Maintains, designs, and creates various custom complex maps using CAD/GIS software.
- Utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) data, conducts geospatial analysis, develops conversion strategies, and applies topology.
- Assists with the development and maintenance of relational databases for GIS, including procedures and quality control mechanisms.
- Assists with designing various applications and/or user interfaces; processes and completes requests for GIS information; creates reports, maps and other electronic information using CAD and GIS systems.
- Researches and stays informed on CAD and GIS-related software and technologies.
- Performs other related administrative and project support duties as needed.QualificationsCombinations of related education and experience may be considered. - Bachelor's degree (preferably in GIS, geography, or related field)WORK EXPERIENCERequired
