Amentum is currently searching for a Senior Program Manager to join our team in Odon, INThe Senior Program Manager will plan, direct, control and monitor the program assigned to the incumbent to ensure satisfactory completion of program objectivesThe Senior Program Manager will oversee programs providing multi-disciplinary engineering analysis and support in the design, development, implementation, operation and maintenance of diverse systems and directly support the maintenance of the current base and develop and implement new business strategiesJob Duties and Responsibilities:--- Provide administrative and technical leadership in the completion of multiple contracts, including responsibility for cost, schedule and overall performance--- Plan and procure necessary staffing to achieve work completion milestones and deliverables--- Monitor fulfillment of contract requirements to ensure quality and timeliness of services/deliverables to various customers--- Supervise, coordinate, provide leadership to and review the work of assigned staff and/or contracts--- Interface with customers on a regular basis for support of engineering and program management activities.--- Monitor customer feedback and advise on a broad range of issues related to products/services being delivered--- Participate in business development including identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategies and managing proposal development--- Perform multi-disciplinary analysis of system designs to determine compliance with specifications and standards--- Direct the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel--- Act as a point-of-contact for all matters relating to the assigned contract for representative between government personnel and Amentum management team--- Provide management guidance and control for the efficient utilization of human resources assignment, performance, morale and overall welfare--- Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requestedMinimum Requirements:--- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, technical discipline, or related field and at least 12 years of job-related experience or equivalent--- Ability to provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance and leadership to effectively execute the objectives--- Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications are required--- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance (Please note, US Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance) Preferred Qualifications:--- Master's degree or coursework in specialized management preferred--- At least 7 years' experience managing DoD programs, highly desired--- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional certification--- Project and Program Management experience with successive growth in scope and responsibilities--- Active Secret Clearance Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity EmployerOur hiring practices provide equal opportunity for employment without regard to race, religion, color, sex, gender, national origin, age, United States military veteran's status, ancestry, sexual orientation, marital status, family structure, medical condition including genetic characteristics or information, veteran status, or mental or physical disability so long as the essential functions of the job can be performed with or without reasonable accommodation, or any other protected category under federal, state, or local lawLabor Law Posters EEO including Disability/Protected Veterans More...
