We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Merchandising Finance team within the FP&A function. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and developing various reports to assist stakeholders in driving business decisions. Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst will act as a cross-functional financial business partner to the Category Management and Merchandising teams. This role will interface with Corporate and Field Finance leadership and collaborate to assist in the build-out of budgeting, forecasting, period end variance explanations and quarterly board materials. Furthermore, the Senior Financial Analyst will contribute to driving the standardization, automation, and development of current processes and performance reporting tools while supporting the creation of actionable analyses and insights to optimize business performance.This position has been segmented as Hybrid meaning there is a combination of 3 onsite days and the rest remote.
Responsibilities:Support period reporting to identify gaps to plan, drill into drivers of the variance, and effectively communicate findings to stakeholdersSupport period end processes by working with Category Management and Vendor Operation teams to properly account for income/expenseRollup forecasts and check overall trends and totals to determine where there are unexplained adjustments that should be examined prior to lockingCreate excel modelling and PowerPoint decks for monthly operating reviews and board decks ensuring high levels of qualityPerform ad hoc analysis and projects as needed to help set company direction or investigate potential problem opportunitiesOther duties as assigned by managerMinimum Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of professional finance analysis experience required with P&L experience.Advanced skills using MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)Must have a proven track record of being able to work autonomously as well as interact across all levels of staff and management.Must possess keen attention to detail and drive for results.
