- Proficient with PLC's, Drives and Schematics is a must (for 1st shift position).
- Initiates purchase orders for parts and supplies.
- Records all maintenance performed for each machine in written English in the maintenance log.
- Maintains and assembles spare parts inventory.
- Trouble shoots all equipment mechanical and electrical.
- Diagnoses and replaces faulty/mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
- Measures, cuts, threads, air, water and gas piping.
- Installs new auxiliary equipment on all production machines.
- Cuts, welds and fabricates structural equipment.
- Diagnoses equipment failure to determine the root cause.
- Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder and other metal working tools to make repair parts.
- Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation or replacement.
- Pulls wiring through conduits.
- Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit.
- Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment and connects cables and wires between machine and equipment.When your expertise drives us.
