As an Accountant, prepare financial documents and ensure accurate reporting to support our continued growth as North America's top distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials! Better together! This position is on-site, and we are looking for people who share our passion. Position Responsibilities - Help prepare financial statements as well as gather and analyze information needed to prepare journal entries.
- Review, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports, making corrections as needed.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in the year-end financial audit, preparing schedules and addressing auditor requests.
- Track and maintain bank account and credit card activity.
- Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures. Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA preferred.
- Prior accounting experience is a plus, but if you're willing and eager to learn, we will train you!
- Proficiency in Excel, Access or SQL is preferred. Benefits
