From nursing staffing, temp to hire, and permanent to healthcare contracts, 10bits provides hospitals and medical facilities with high-quality clinical professionals with the highest standards and compliance to provide the best medical care.Job Title: Radiology TechnologistJob Location: Quincy, IL 62301Job Type: Contract - 13 weeksJob Duties:* Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and fluoroscopy, following physician orders and established protocols.* Position patients correctly and operate imaging equipment to capture clear and accurate images of specific body parts or areas of interest.* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure proper imaging techniques and image quality for accurate interpretation.* Provide compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process, explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing concerns.* Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety protocols, shielding sensitive areas, and minimizing radiation exposure to patients and staff.* Monitor patients for adverse reactions or complications during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies or medical issues.* Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI machines, and other specialized equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.* Perform routine maintenance checks, calibration, and quality control tests on equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.* Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with biomedical engineering or service technicians for repairs as needed.* Document patient information, imaging procedures, and technical factors accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) or radiology information systems (RIS).* Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other privacy standards in handling patient records and information.* Participate in quality assurance programs, including image evaluation, peer review, and performance improvement initiatives, to maintain high standards of patient care and image quality.* Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and protocols.* Must have recent Must have OR experience.* Must have ARRT.* Must have BLS (AHA).Schedule:* 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM* Mon - Fri* 40 hours weeklyJob Type: ContractPay: $70.00 per hourSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to FridayExperience:* recent OR: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* ARRT Certification (Required)* BLS (AHA) (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble More...
