Night Shift Mechanic Helper
Maintenance Department The Maintenance Helper under the guidance of a senior mechanic or supervisor will assist with repairs and operations of maintenance equipment. Perform entry level tasks as assigns. Must have mechanical aptitude and be able to work independently.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and operator waste water treatment plant.
Under the guidance of a senior mechanic provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production. Assists with scheduled maintenance repairs of production, processing and facilities equipment.
Performs Cleaning, Lubrication and Inspection of facilities equipment.
Document work in Computer based Maintenance Management Systems (SAP).
Mechanic is required to supply their own basic hand tools and a lockable tool box.
Perform other duties as required.
Safetly and GMP Objectives
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as complying with the OSHA rules and regulations. (THINK "SAFETY FIRST").
Ability to recognize unsafe acts and conditions in the facility and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Ability to fully complete appropriate paperwork related to specific job functions in addition to quality and safety/training.
Ability to recognize and report all incidents; even those that do not warrant treatment.
Review and execute out Food Safety Plan and MFP Mission Statement in order to provide value to each of our customers with safe, relevant, tasty food products; while never comprising quality.
Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP's) including proper waster disposal, attire, grooming and hygiene, etc.
Guidelines and Criteria
Employee must be in good standing ( No attendance or disciplinary corrective actions).
Must have a GED or Hight School diploma. Prior vocational training would be preferred.
Must be flexible with hours and willing to work overtime when needed. More...
