The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our complex physical and cloud-based infrastructure to ensure it operates efficiently, securely, and reliably. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in infrastructure, networking, and cloud technologies with a strong attention to detail. This individual will work with business leaders, managed services personnel and customers to create scalable and secure technology solutions across the enterprise. - Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the security and architecture functions to design and plan solutions that are secure and scalable
• Lead the deployment and configuration of infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud resources
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management
• Recommend and implement security best practices to safeguard company data
• Monitor ongoing system performance and make recommendations for improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
• Evaluate usage patterns to forecast resource needs for scalability and cost-effectiveness
• Participate in incident management and resolution activities, collaborating with other IT and business resources to minimize downtime and service disruption
• Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, software development, and support, to deliver integrated solutions
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and evaluate new solutions and technologies for adoption Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 or more years of experience in Technology
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies
  • Familiarity with virtualization and containerization technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and ability to work independently
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus Success Characteristics
