- Supervise children and youth in a Child and Youth Services program, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Plan and conduct activities addressing physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs of program participants.
- Foster a positive environment for interaction among children, youth, and adults.
- Maintain program areas and materials, accommodating diverse needs of participants.
- Keep records of program participation and prepare daily reports.Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 at the time of appointment.
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card required.
- Meet qualification, eligibility, physical, and background requirements.
- Current health assessment documenting good mental and physical health, immunizations, and annual influenza vaccinations.
- Completion of required training within specified time frames.
- May involve irregular hours, evenings, and weekends.
- Satisfactory completion of employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs., bend, stoop, and stand routinely.
- Mandatory reporting of suspected incidents of child abuse/neglect.
- Training in administering medications, CPR, first aid, and accommodating special needs.Qualifications:
- Entry Level (CY-01): High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED), proficiency in English.
