Operation Homefront is sourcing candidates for a Senior Manager, Foundation Partnerships position.The Senior -Manager of -Foundation Partnerships reports to -the -Director of Foundation Partnerships and provides -support for -a national -multi-million- dollar -foundation -revenue -strategy. -This -position -is -responsible -for -securing -$2M -in -new -revenue -for -the -organization. -They -are -responsible -for -writing, developing, -and -submitting -high-quality -proposals, -accurate -donor -reports, -and -other -stewardship -materials -for -foundation -partners. -They -monitor -the implementation of large, complex grants which includes overseeing allocation of funds; ensuring all grant guidelines are adhered to; and, that all program -and -reporting -deliverables are -met. They -assist in -the -identification -and -solicitation -of -foundation -prospects -and -with -drafting -and -submitting proposals and budgets for both unrestricted operating revenue and restricted programs. As part of this role, the position also works collaboratively with other internal departments (i.e. Finance, Programs, Marketing, Development, and Integrated Public Relations). Desired candidates will have: - - Bachelor's degree required. Masters degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, Nonprofit Finance, -or -Related -Social Sciences Sector (e.g., Housing, Public Administration, Social Work, etc.)
- 5 years of experience in grant solicitation, -grants -management, -grant writing, and nonprofit donor relations
- Proficiency in financial/budget management -and -understanding -of basic accounting practices
- Knowledge -of -nonprofit -reporting -and tracking/monitoring of funding
- Ability -to -gather -and -analyze -complex
- Exceptional attention to detail, goal oriented, and ability to work independently, -as -well -as -collaboratively when needed
- Good communication skills across multiple -levels -of -the -organization, -as well as with external partners and donors
- Proficiency -in -Microsoft -Office -- -Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point applications, as -well -as -Adobe. -Working -knowledge -of EveryAction or other donor database, QuickBooks recommended
- Experience -with -military -families -and programs preferred
- Certifications in Grant Writing, Fundraising, -Program Delivery, Nonprofit -Management, or related -areas -a -plus
- Valid driver's license and acceptable -MVR (Annual)
