Our Team:
This position will report into the North America Medical Immunology (Non-Alliance) team which is a segment of the Medical Specialty Care organization.
Our Medical function serves as a valued strategic partner with Clinical, Commercial, Regulatory, and Market Access on therapeutic solutions to support patients' needs. The US Medical Immunology team is proud to support Sanofi's deep commitment to chasing the miracles of science to improve the lives of patients.
Main job responsibilities:

• Oversee, recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of regional directors (RDs) and field-based Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs)
  
• Develop and implement Medical engagement plans and objectives in partnership with internal cross-functional team members; oversee execution of these plans; demonstrate and communicate the value and impact of field medical to senior leaders across the organization
  
• Lead the identification of and interactions with KOLs in designated disease areas and/or geography on a national and regional level and, when appropriate, on a local community level.
  
• Monitor and measure performance metrics and provide direction and timely feedback to RDs regarding these metrics; monitor and measure field performance metrics and identify trends at the US and team level
  
• Oversee appropriate scientific exchange with the external medical community of HCPs, KOLs and investigators through robust and balanced communication of medical and scientific information on the company's pipeline programs and potential marketed products, along with their disease states.
  
• Direct field-based Medical Affairs attendance and coverage at congresses and meetings, including contributing to meeting planning efforts through close collaboration with internal stakeholders
  
• Integrate the use of snackable AI into everyday MSL activities to enhance field medical impact and focus
  
  About you
  
  
  
  • Education: MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP preferred.
    
  • Work Experience: 8+ years of field medical experience within the pharmaceutical industry, experience developing and leading teams.
    
  • Skills / knowledge:
    
  • Experience working effectively in large enterprise matrix teams.
    
  • Possesses effective, professional communication skills to cultivate strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    
  • Strong scientific and business acumen.
    
  • Ability to translate insights into strategic action plans.
    
  • Challenges the status quo and creates disruptive initiatives.
