Individuals will also be required to assist in Pasturebird house construction and other on-site construction projectsPosition will pay $16.00 - $18.00/hr. based on previous experience. This is a full time position.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCatch 3 to 4 chickens in each hand. Place 20 to 25 chickens per minute in a drawer. Place chickens in drawer without harming the chickens. Place 10 to 12 chickens in each module. Assist in Pasturebird house construction and other on-site general construction projects. Ability to use power tools. Must be able to drive forklift. Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout and Process Safety Management.Minimum EducationStrong reading, writing, math, and analytical skills are required, and a High School diploma or GED preferred.Experience RequirementsMust be able to use power tools and drive forklift.Experience PreferredPrior experience with poultry and/or chicken catching or farm experience preferred.Environmental Factors and Physical RequirementsThis position requires 2 to 4 hours with 4 to 6 repetitions per minute in a single interval. Variable temperature exposure. Ambient dampness exposure. Walking or standing on all types of surfaces. Chemical exposure to carbon fuel fumes and 100 ft distance on all types of walking surfaces. 2 to 4 hours of standing with variable mobility. This position requires 2 to 4 hours of constant sitting.
