About This Role The Abound Sales Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals who drive our innovative building management solutions with a strong emphasis on sustainability, cost reduction, and operational efficiency. We require an experienced and aggressive business development professional with solid building technology and digital product knowledge, exceptional direct selling, demand creation, and account development experience. You will lead a high-performing team focused on closing new business and account opportunities. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including customers, product development, and delivery teams. You will work closely with facility management teams and senior executive teams heading up Sustainability and Property Portfolio Management, helping them understand how Abound can transform their building operations. Key Responsibilities - Engage with customers to understand their challenges in building portfolio operations, emphasizing how Abound can enhance labor productivity and system uptime.
- Tailor solutions to help clients manage variability in their operations and provide immediate access to data for their portfolio of buildings.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the commercial real estate market and the latest trends in building management, sustainability, and technology.
- Use this knowledge to help Sales Reps to identify and address key pain points for customers, such as operational inefficiencies and data accessibility challenges.
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members in order for them to develop and deliver compelling pitches that resonate with C-level executives, focusing on high-level business outcomes and strategic benefits of Abound.
- Ensure sales team members are building long-term relationships with key decision-makers, positioning themselves as trusted advisors.
- Lead efforts to combine knowledge of software solutions with an understanding of managed services to offer comprehensive, bundled solutions that meet clients' diverse needs.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within Carrier's broader portfolio.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within target organizations.
- Use effective communication and negotiation skills to build trust and long-term partnerships.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively implementing sales strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry developments to capitalize on new business opportunities.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ Years of Enterprise Software Sales Experience
- 7+ Years of Sales Management Experience
- Ability to Travel 70% Domestically
