St. Francis-Emory Healthcare, a 376-bed facility, located in Columbus, GA is recruiting an additional Certified Nurse Midwife to join our hospital-employed group.--- Our hospital offers the full range of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room services, including the only open-heart surgery program in Columbus and the Chattahoochee Valley--- State of the art technology on-site, along with most service lines--- St. Francis-Emory Healthcare is proud to be the first hospital in Georgia to have earned Perinatal Care Certification from The Joint CommissionDetails: - Joining St. Francis OB/GYN Associates - The practice is located in a 20k sq ft state of the art medical office building attached to the hospital - Our practice is comprised of 6 physicians and 2 CNM's - Our midwives cover a range of women's healthcare services, including co-management of high risk obstetrical patients - Lab, in-office ultrasound, NST and our full service women's center - 24 hour shifts - The midwives are off the next day, following call - Hours are M-Th 8-5p and Fridays are a half day - About a 60/40 split OB to Gyn - Level I NICU - Our group performs anywhere from 960 to 1200 deliveries a year - TeamHealth manages our hospitalist group - EMR: Cerner in practice and hospitalCommunity: - The hospital serves over 300k residents in western GA + eastern AL - Columbus is 90 minutes southwest of Atlanta + 40 minutes from Auburn, Alabama - 2nd largest city in the state of Georgia offering a small town feel with the amenities of a larger city - Great community for the outdoor enthusiastHigh ranking public and private schools More...
