About the College/Unit/Department The SCC is a unit of the Department of Statistics as well as a core unit of the UGA Office of Research. The mission of the SCC is threefold: to provide collaborative research assistance at UGA; to increase the quality of research performed at the University; and to provide education and training to graduate students in the Department. The SCC consists of a faculty Director, an Associate Director, at least five supported Consulting Assistants, and several Volunteer Consulting Assistants.
