This position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards). This includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check and taking a drug test. Any employment is contingent upon passing the screening. - - Due to Federal requirements, only US citizens, US naturalized citizens or US Permanent Residents, holding a green card, will be considered. - What you get to do in this role: - - Contribute on issue management team of security engineers to identity, triage, and resolve security and compliance vulnerabilities--- -
- Leverage this research to develop requirements and recommendations for remediating identified vulnerabilities, and/ or develop preventative controls or auto-remedies to compensate for these constructs and conditions--- -
- You will interact with security, platform and product teams to review the indicators of compromise and corrective measures for our most systemic, critical vulnerabilities--- -
- Secure our platform while simultaneously lowering the SME fatigue placed on developer teams to achieve and maintain posture improvements--- -
- Partner with Compliance teams to ensure proper validation is being performed. -
- Develop and implement innovations on the ServiceNow platform. - Qualifications To be successful in this role you have: -
- Fundamental understanding of systems and/or network engineering -
- Linux or Unix experience -
- Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities -
- Knowledge of Security Verification Standards, OWASP ASVS -
- Deep understanding of computing, operation, function -
- Deep understanding of network communications OSI -
- Worked with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms. -
- Understanding and experience with various compliance framework -
