Position Responsibilities - Design, deploy, and maintain robust network infrastructure solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking components, to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Configure and troubleshoot AV devices for seamless operation and network compatibility
- Develop and implement network policies to optimize AV performance and minimize latency
- Collaborate with teams to integrate audio-visual solutions into existing network infrastructure
- Stay updated on emerging networking and AV technologies and assess their impact.
- Participate in project planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize AV solution requirements Here's What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT or a related area of study
- At least 3 years of experience in networking engineering or similar roles
- Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols
- Familiarity with network equipment from vendors such as: Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Palo Alto Networks
- Ability to integrate audio-visual and low voltage solutions into network infrastructures, with a track record of configuring and troubleshooting AV devices and protocols such as HDMI, HDCP, HDBaseT, and Dante
- Familiarity with a broad spectrum of audio-visual standards and technologies, including H.264, H.265, SIP, WebRTC, Dante, AES67, and SDVoE.
- Strong analytical acumen and problem-solving prowess, enabling prompt identification, diagnosis, and resolution of intricate network and AV challenges
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating seamless collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors
- Preferred: industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+, AVIXA CTS, or equivalent qualifications
