As a *Medical Assistant*, you will be a part of the Clinical Care Team and engage our patients to develop lifelong well-being and health. The Medical Assistant makes a difference in peoples lives, administers prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill, injured, convalescent, and disabled persons under direction of a Physician.*Center Address:* 1500 E Hillsboro Blvd, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441*Job Functions:** Perform pre-visit planning based on patient visit type* Manage the providers schedule to ensure efficient workflow* Obtain and record medical history and vital signs* Room patients and assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and treatments* Perform specimen collection and point of care testing* Prepare and administer medications under direction of healthcare providers* Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including documentation of HEDIS and Stars quality measures* Maintain established quality control standards*Required Qualifications:** *MUST be Bilingual in English and Spanish** Must have 1 2 years of Medical Assistant experience in 'back-office' direct patient care* Medical Assistant diploma or certificate of completion from a Medical Assisting program* Current CPR certification* Phlebotomy experience*Preferred Qualifications:** An active Certified Medical Assistant/CMA or Registered Medical Assistant/RMA certification from one of the following organizations: AAMA, AMT, ARMA, MedCa, NAHP, NAHT, NCCT, NHA or AAH* Experience with HEDIS and ICD/CPT coding* Experience with Electronic Medical Records* Experience in a fast paced/high volume environment*Working Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 to 5:00*Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:* Health insuranceMedical specialties:* Wound CareSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayWork setting:* Clinic* In-personExperience:* Medical assistant: 1 year (Required)* Phlebotomy: 1 year (Required)Language:* Spanish (Required)* English (Required)License/Certification:* Certified Medical Assistant (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble More...
