Eaton's North American division is currently seeking a District Project Manager to join our team. This position is a hybrid role and can be based in any of these Florida locations: Tampa, Orlando, or Deerfield Beach. Position Summary Responsibilities of the position are to manage the technical aspects of medium-sized electrical assembly project orders by meeting customer specifications and timelines for product, documentation, and quality. The Field Sales Project Manager will be heavily involved in both the technical (electrical/mechanical) details of major project orders as well as effectively manage the time lines of deliverables for his/her project orders. This position will work independently on daily tasks, and as part of the field sales team and will need to leverage centralized resources to manage documentation and commercial requirements. The goal is to create value and establish the project order management process as a key differentiator from our competitors while improving the financial position for Eaton and the customer. manage the assigned project orders to create value and improve the financial position for Eaton and our customers -
organize and lead Order Transition Meetings with Field Sales, Project Coordinators and Manufacturing facilities for all assigned projects. -
apply Project management methodologies and strategies to support both the financial aspects and timeline of assigned project orders. -
review of project specifications, contracts and order specifics prior to order entry insuring technical accuracy -
coordinate and interpretation of plant drawings -
leverage centralized resources for the creation of documentation packages and perform reviews of these packages as appropriate -
provide technical support and follow through on warranty issues -
represent sales at customer witness tests, inspections, and on-board approval meetings/visits -
ensure that accurate information flows to and from the customer in a proactive way. -
review quote, plans, specs, any and all project documentation PRIOR to order entry. -
capture and document discrepancies/issues. -
meet with SE to analyze/discuss project, including establishing fiscal base line, PRIOR to order entry -

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution -
Minimum three (3) years' of electrical industry experience -
Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license -
Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship Preferred Qualification: -
Bachelor's degree in Business or Electrical Engineering -
PMP Certification -
Strong application of Power Engineered products -
3+ years of Project Management experience Skills: |
