We work hard and continue our never-ending quest for improvement so that we can continue to increase our business & customer loyalty.Our company is seeking an Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist (Monday - Friday 9a-6p) that will be responsible for the Billing, Cash Applications, Collections, and other accounting functions.Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist Duties/Responsibilities:Prepares invoices based on delivery confirmationsAdjusts inventory transactions as needed to reconcile to delivery confirmationsIssues credit memos for items refused at time of deliveryFills out credit requests for sales tax exempt customers as well as price adjustments.Processes credit card payments for customers.Set up new customer accounts assigned to them and for the branches assigned to them.Track AR aging and propose adjustments for finance charges and small overages to Controller.Prepares cash deposit. (if assigned)Reviews aging for credit card customers to ensure proper posting of credit card refunds and voids.Answers phones professionally with a customer-centric frame of mind.Responsible for obtaining sales tax exempt certificates from customers for Controller to review for accuracy.Other ad-hoc reports and/or duties as assigned.Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist Skills/Abilities:High school diploma or the equivalent, plus 2 years work experience in accounts receivable and billing.Bachelor's degree in finance or related field a plus.NetSuite ERP experience highly preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Ability to maintain confidential information.Must possess high attention to detail.Ability to work independently.Excellent time management & organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work.American Metals Supply is an equal employment opportunity employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
