As a partner to golf courses, company provides turnkey solutions to their operations with the main areas of focus on: <br>• Online marketing and distribution of tee times<br>• Web hosting, development and customer management solutions <br>• Revenue optimization, database expansion and other course products <br> <br>The Software Engineer will work closely with business product management, business partners, customer service and technology team members to plan, design, develop, deploy, maintain and support various B2B, ecommerce and consumer-facing platforms and properties.<br>Key Responsibilities: <br>• Work in the implementation of various modules for the large suit of ecommerce products and consumer oriented web sites and Web Services <br>• Work directly with product and business users in delivering new projects <br>• Provide development support to current products <br>• Write uses cases, requirement specifications, system documentation, and other project deliverables <br>• Comment, manage and merge code<br>• Create automated unit test cases and test data <br>• Test and debug code • Participate in code walkthroughs as needed to ensure quality <br>• Deliver software on time and to specification, with minimal supervision <br>• Build trust and cooperation between IT, internal clients, and external vendors <br>• Manage end user expectations and gain user acceptance of all project deliverables<br>• Other duties as assigned<br> <br>Qualifications/Requirements <br>• 3+ years of technical expertise in .NET (C#), ASP, ASP.NET VB.NET and Windows stack <br>• 3+ years of experience with MS SQL Server. Oracle experience is a plus. <br>• Proficient with HTML, CSS, DOM, JavaScript skills <br>• Demonstrable experience with JavaScript frameworks <br>• Experience with Ajax (Single-page interface; XPath targeting; Comprehensive event model; State and the observer pattern) <br>• Understanding of data modeling and SQL <br>• Experience in a collaborative, team-driven software engineering environment. <br>• Participation in full development life cycle <br>• Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills <br>• Experience gathering and developing system requirements <br>• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written<br>• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science <br>• Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV through www.nbcunicareers.com to be considered <br>• Must be willing to work in Orlando, FL <br>• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation <br>• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States<br>• Must be 18 years or older <br> <br> <br></span> More...
