Description What You'll Do: As the Assistant Program Manager, you will provide operational planning and technical integration in support of the Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) continuum, specifically supporting Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) training, including project management, developing operations products for wargames, and coordinating and establishing distributed site connections. Responsibilities will include: - Providing operational and technical expertise to support current and future Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) capabilities for the Fleet
- Analyzing drafts and final submissions of proposals to ensure strategic alignment and probability
- Budget management: providing information to the prime contractor for inclusion in the overall contract budget
- Responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs), working closely with leadership to draft and review proposals to ensure all requirements are addressed
- Managing schedules and technical deliverables
- Generating monthly reports including cost, schedule, and technical updates
- Conducting in-person customer briefs as requested
- Position will require flexibility in working hours and the ability to travel (approx. 5 times/year) Requirements Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3 years of DoD acquisition experience with at least 1 year of experience in a program management role, required
- Must have a strong background in operations, with a strong preference for NAWCTSD experience
- Familiar with tools and protocols including Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF), Next Generation Threat System (NGTS), Federation Agreements Compliance Test Tool (FACTT) Suite, ASTi Radios, JBUS/FOMs, HLA/DIS protocols.
- You are able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
- You have professional and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- You take a proactive approach to your work and you're able to accomplish tasks with limited guidance and supervision
- You have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Security Clearance Requirements:
- This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance. Position will ultimately require a Top Secret clearance; qualified candidate should be able to obtain and maintain this level of clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
