We are excited about the work we do and are looking for others who share the same drive and passion.Starting Pay $ 23.50an hour base payWeekly paychecks and Early Access $ OptionMedical, dental and vision benefits after 30 days of employmentPaid Time Off earnedEven more perks: 401K with company match, tuition reimbursement, and a wellness program that puts money back in your pocket for living a healthylifestyle!PURPOSE:Responsible for the prompt minor repairs and ongoing preventative maintenance of material handling equipment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Job Responsibilities PercentageProvide recommendations to repair or replace poorly functioning equipment 10%Efficiently prioritizes repair schedule to ensure an uninterrupted production schedule 10%Troubleshoot equipment problems to include brake, electrical andhydraulic systems, detect imperfections, potential problems, safetyissues and/or malfunctions. 10%Provide improvements required to ensure compliance to safety regulations to DC and safety team 10%Ensure that department is appropriately stocked with part and tools needed to perform their job 10%Undertakes actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc, on equipment for preventive maintenance purposes 10%Replace broken or defective parts from stock parts and/or order replacement parts for major repairs 10%Modifies and tests equipment to improve systems uptime and reliability 10%Updates and reviews daily maintenance logs 10%Follows all safety policies and procedures strictly 10%Total 100%Performs other relevant job duties as required.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education/ Certifications/or Equivalent combination of education training and experience:High School Diploma/GED and/or equivalent related experience2-3 years of technical maintenance or related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education, experience andtrainingExperience:1-2 years of on-the-job experience with electronics and mechanical equipmentMachining and fabrication experience helpfulKnowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:Understanding of Safety guidelinesAble to read and understand blueprints and technical reference manuals.Understanding of equipment operation and maintenance proceduresExcellent mechanical aptitudeAbility to work well independentlyPHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/ DEMANDS:Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Perishable Operation and 37degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Grocery OperationAbility to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures.Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places toperform job duties.
