Cisco is actively seeking a seasoned Technical Sales Specialist to strengthen our Americas Product Support Specialist team, with a keen focus on driving growth within the service provider and enterprise customer segments. We are looking for a dynamic professional, ideally with over a decade of experience in both selling advanced technical solutions. Your role will be critical in shaping the future of next-generation solutions and ensuring unparalleled customer satisfaction through your empathetic approach, fervent passion, and a keen sensitivity to the distinct requirements of our clients.

Armed with a comprehensive knowledge of network and application performance management solutions, you will be expected to lead technical sales engagements. Your ability to analytically dissect customer challenges and craft them into strategic opportunities for revenue generation will be paramount. Success in this role hinges on a demonstrated capability to devise and deploy effective sales strategies within the service provider and enterprise landscapes, propelled by a relentless pursuit of revenue growth.

Your Core functions will be:

--- Collaborate closely with specific Service Providers and Enterprise organizations to craft bespoke Service Assurance and connectivity solutions, leveraging the Accedian Solution Portfolio in alignment with their unique needs.

--- Partner with Direct Account Teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the account's immediate and long-term objectives, positioning Accedian's portfolio as a key component in their strategic roadmap.

--- Engage with cross-disciplinary teams to develop comprehensive solutions that meet end-user demands, which include technical design, oversight of the sales cycle, and ensuring the commercial success of the delivery.

--- Participate actively in customer engagements to consult on, present, and architect technical solutions that resonate with client expectations and requirements.

--- Meet or exceed designated sales targets and strategic goals by effectively advocating for and implementing Accedian's solution offerings within the service provider and enterprise markets.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

The ideal candidate for this direct contributor position will bring a robust expertise in service providers and enterprise environments, with a strong emphasis on experience with observability and assurance solutions. An understanding of network infrastructures and proficiency in managing network and application performance are critical. As a member of the innovative and proactive Americas Assurance Sales Specialist team, you will address intricate challenges of a diverse range of clients. Your role will be pivotal in liaising with some of the most prominent organizations worldwide, which will demand an in-depth understanding of the distinct requirements characteristic of the service provider and enterprise segments.

    When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Applicants may not be eligible for the full salary range based on their U.S. or Canada hiring location.     U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.

    Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

    .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

    1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

    1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

    For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid. More...
