Qualifications

Graduation from Accredited School of NursingCurrent RN licensure in FloridaMinimum 2 years PACU experience or experience in Critical Care (ICU, CCU, CVSICU) required. No new grads. -BLS -requiredPALS -requiredACLS -requiredNIH required -While practicing Service Excellence skills, the RN assumes the responsibility and accountability for providing safe and competent direct/indirect nursing care for post operative patients needs in accordance with Manatee Memorial Hospital policies, procedures, standards and philosophy and provides professional leadership and support to health team members. Ability to integrate nursing theory into practice using nursing process. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to problem solve and work effectively with patients, families, staff and physicians. Ability to plan and organize and work effectively in stressful situations. Ability to work independently and in teams.
