We seek a strong people and process leader who will function as the business leader for our Newark and Middletown Emergency Departments, our Observation Environments (both emergency department and inpatient), Pre-Hospital Services, and is responsible for the Trauma Program focusing on accreditation. - The successful candidate will have a high level of expertise related to successful Emergency Department operations, possess experience and confidence to be a change agent, and the ability to build good relationships. - Review and evaluate patient experience, report on existing state and build/implement/run a robust sustainable plan to improve outcomes.
- Build and maintain through collaborative interdisciplinary relationships, drive efficiencies in patient throughput for optimum delivery of care to the community.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, direction, motivation and career development of the nursing leadership team to ensure their professional/career growth.
- Actively participate in the development and modification of campus and system-wide patient care programs and procedures that describe how the nursing care needs of the patient populations are assessed, evaluated and met.Education and experience requirements:
