write, design, and create materials to support annual giving efforts, including direct mail and email appeals, impact reports, the annual report, website content and social media posts. - Oversee all aspects of Bishop Walker School's annual giving
with an expectation to be data driven and responsive throughout the year if corrective actions are needed to meet goals. Improve donor retention and contribute to the building of a robust pipeline of annual giving prospects. - Work with the Development staff to prepare and execute
strategies to move donors seamlessly along the donor-to-major-donor continuum in ways that prioritize donor relationships and support long-term loyalty. Stewardship - Partner with Communications and Marketing colleagues to develop
and coordinate production of Annual Report and other Development publications. - Actively engage in planning and execution of Annual Dinner,
receptions throughout the year, and speaking engagements at local churches and partner organizations. - Serve as an ambassador for Bishop Walker School representing
the school at internal and external events as needed. - Ensure proper acknowledgment and stewardship of donors,
providing regular updates on the impact of their contributions and maintaining ongoing engagement. Qualifications - Strong Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills
and the ability to engage and build relationships with donors, prospects, colleagues and stakeholders. - Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a
team environment, contributing ideas and supporting overall fundraising goals. - Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage
multiple donor relationships and tasks simultaneously. - Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, be
proficient in research, interpretation, and data analysis with the ability to work collaboratively and independently to achieve stated goals. - Strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and
Belonging. Not required, but preferred: - Experience in fundraising, development, or donor relations in a
nonprofit setting, with a proven track record of successful donor cultivation and solicitation. - Portfolio Management: Experience managing a portfolio of
donors, including strategically moving them through the donor cycle. |
