Corner Alliance is a dynamic, growing consulting firm that devotes itself to providing an enriching employee experience while working in meaningful ways to create results for the governmentWe are currently seeking a Public Information and Warning Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 10+ years of relevant experience to join our team and fully embrace our commitment to deliver, grow, and thrive About the Role: As a Public Information and Warning SME supporting our Federal government client, you will provide expertise and insights on advancements in alert and warning technologies; best practices in planning, training, and exercises; and leverage professional networks to gain insights from current Public Information and Warning practitioners across the United StatesSupport will help lead operational and research activities such as client-facing reports, program design, response to taskers and inquiries meetings, and direct communication with the Guidehouse and Client teams on status updatesThis position will be critical in supporting the broader team in executing long-term programmatic planning efforts to establish new client programming related to national public information, alerts, and warningsKey Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):--- Lead a team of 2-5 consultants to plan and develop client-facing products that will further build the alert and warning ecosystem within the United States.--- Perform strategic assessments of current state planning, initiative design and development, and capability delivery to identify gaps and provide recommendations for addressing.--- Conduct programmatic assessments of current alert and warning processes and procedures in the U.Sto offer improvements and enhancements to capability delivery.--- Review literature and client documents to assess current state requirements and perform studies utilizing client operational data.--- Support ad hoc client requirements and deliver on ad hoc client requests, including studies, position briefings, informational briefings, Agency-wide data calls, and briefing requests.--- Carry out our Commitments to Deliver, Grow, and ThriveLocation: You will work as part of a dynamic team remotelyYou will work at the client site in metro-accessible Washington, DC on an as-needed basisRequired Experience/Skills:--- Bachelor's degree--- 10+ years of emergency management experience, including experience working in Joint Information Centers, Emergency Operations Centers, Public Safety Communications centers, or other facilities responsible for cross-functional coordination during emergencies.--- Proficiency with educational technology tools and software, such as learning management systems and authoring tools, Adobe Captivate, and Articulate Storyline 365--- Strong written and verbal communication skills--- Organizational and project management skills--- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, with experience evaluating quantitative as well as qualitative data--- US citizenship or permanent resident and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability Preferred Experience/Skills:--- Previous experience in emergency management training--- Previous experience in consulting, business writing, meeting preparation and facilitation Don't think you have everything for this role but are still very interested?
